Preside at all meetings with such authority as is customarily conferred upon presiding officers;
Appoint committee's as necessary to conduct the business of the organization and coordinate the work of the Directors and/or committees in order that the objectives may be promoted;
Take responsibility that these bylaws made in pursuance thereof are faithfully executed
Serve as an ex officio a member of all committees
Co-sign checks along with the Vice President or Secretary
Perform such other duties as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors; for example electronic payments
The Vice President shall: (Beth Lyon, Lyon1@yahoo.com)
Assist the President and assume the duties of the President in the event of the President's inability to serve or resignation;
Oversee and review records of all fund-raising activities as determined and approved by the Board of Directors
Chair the Nominating Committee as needed.
Co-sign checks along with the President or Secretary;
Perform such other duties as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors
The Secretary shall: (Sheldon Black)
Record the minutes of all meetings and furnish a copy of such minutes to the Board of Directors;
Coordinate all correspondence relating to the Corporation;
Receive a written report of the balance of the budget from the Treasurer every month, and record such report in the Minutes;
Receive all monies of the Corporation and deposit said monies in a bank designated by the Directors of the Corporation; Submit copies of concession reports and other revenue reports with deposit receipts to Treasurer at next board meeting.
Withdraw cash for starting funds for concessions, entry fees, banquet, monetary gifts, and any other cash requirements as needed. Provide Treasurer with withdraw receipt and other backup to substantiate such withdrawals at next board meeting.
Co-sign checks along with the Vice President or President;
Perform such other duties as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors; for example coordinate medals for home meets
The Treasurer shall: (Tracy Underwood)
Be the financial officer of the Corporation including monthly reconciliations of bank statements
Prepare the budget and provide financial reports at each meeting and as requested by the Board of Directors;
Keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures;
Pay out funds with proper vouchers in accordance with the approved budget and present to President, Vice President and/or Secretary for two signatures.
Arrange for an annual audit by an individual/s approved by the Board of Directors and submit copy of such audit to CISD
File tax reports (990 and sales tax reports) with appropriate taxing authorities and submit copies of such tax reports to CISD
Perform such other duties as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors.
